The cats enjoying a summer day in our fenced garden

MysteryCoon's is a medium, loving Maine Coon cattery.
We live in a village outside Copenhagen - in the countryside, and yet only 5 kilometers from everything. Here, my cats have taken over the house and fenced garden, and they graciously allow my husband Jimmy and me to stay here as well - somebody has to fix dinner and litter boxes, and we also come in handy when the cats feel like cuddling. My thanks goes to Jimmy for accepting my hobby...
I have had cats all my life, and I bought my first Maine Coon in August 2000, a pet quality male. I was thrilled with his look and temper, and in November I had placed my reservation for one more.
My first Maine Coon, Harley Davidson, died at only 11 months after 4 hours of heart surgery. He now rests in my garden, and in my heart, and I thank him for the short time we had together and for the world he introduced me to. By showing my cats I have met some wonderful people who have been there for me when I needed help, who have guided me and answered all my questions. I can never thank them enough; without them I could never have started this cattery.
All my cats are registered in Tica. My goal is to breed healthy, typey cats with emphasis on temper and health, and I dream of producing qulity silver cats. All cats are tested for
FIV and FeLV, and breeding cats are screened for HCM
every sekond year, they are Dna tested for the
cMyBPC-3
mutation and PKD. My cats are regularly visited by my vet and my heilpraktiker, and I thank them both for my lovely, healthy cats.
All cats and kittens from MysteryCoon's are sold with a
Tica pedigree and a health certificate, and we reserve the right to sell our kittens to serious buyers only - people who agree that the cat is as important in the family as themselves. No cats from MysteryCoon's will be allowed outside except in a secure outside run.
